But, instead of just linking to the case (which you should definitely read) , we want to take you behind the scenes and talk about what this actually means to us.

So, what is Vode really about?

We started Vode because we felt there was something missing in the industry. Too often we see customers who don’t fully understand what they’re actually paying for – and it’s not their fault. Our industry has had a reputation for years for hidden commissions and complicated deals. We wanted to be different.

As I was quoted in the article:

I want Vode to poke around a bit in some of the things that the industry has perhaps kept a little hidden when it comes to commissions and other sources of income. We want to work to contribute to a better media industry.

With us, it's all about trust . Our customers always know what they're paying for and how we work to create value. It may take a little more time and effort to be so transparent, but it's worth it. Trust is the foundation of everything we do.

We are not an ordinary agency

Vode is a hybrid agency. What does that mean? It means we do a little bit of everything – and we do it really well. We are both a media agency and a production environment. We can just as easily set up a digital campaign as we can produce a film. We love being hands-on, and that puts us much closer to our clients.

I am most concerned that Vode will be able to cultivate an environment that we both thrive in and that has broad expertise within the areas we work with.

We are small enough to be agile, but big enough to deliver on complex projects. And that's exactly where we thrive.

Collaboration that really works

One of the things we are most proud of is our collaboration with Aunt Randi . We share an office, ideas, and play Mario Kart together during breaks. It's a creative marriage – just without the drama. Agency manager Tore Woll described it quite aptly in the article:

There was a perfect fit between Tante Randi and Vode from the start. Here we sit together in an open landscape and can make decisions organically on the clients we collaborate on.

This collaboration allows us to offer our clients something very special: a seamless experience where everything is connected – from creative idea to strategy and media buying.

Growth is about people

We have already reached 10 million in turnover, and we are very proud of that. But what matters most to us is the people – both the customers and our team. We have been lucky to work with customers like Bjørknes , with whom we have had a long and good collaboration. And now we are expanding our team! As Ida said:

I've learned a lot more than I could before. And it's happened very quickly – Vode has developed very quickly, it's been really fun to be a part of.

Building a team that has both broad expertise and values such as integrity and initiative is our most important priority going forward.

What happens now?

We are just starting out, and we have many exciting plans in the works. New projects, new people, and new ways of doing things. We believe in making a difference in the industry – not just by delivering results, but by setting a new standard for how agencies work.

A few days ago we had the pleasure of being interviewed by Kampanje.com, and the result was an article that really put into words what Vode is all about. It's incredibly cool to see how our work and the values we stand for are getting attention.
